So I just discovered this little beauty today. The Avengers #1 1/2, written by Roger Stern and art by Bruce Timm. It came with a collection of Avenger comics that I have and was filed under 1963 for continuities sake, but as soon as I saw a certain drawing of Janet I was SO confused. At first I thought it was Jack Kirby doing the art, but we all know how Bruce Timm draws his women, and thats what made me flip.
It’s a fun issue filling in a rather large gap between the Avengers issues 1 and 2. A joy to have if you can find a copy.
